Research

INTA is a transdisciplinary research institute in Chile that has successfully translated research to improve the population's well-being. It takes a science-based approach towards defining food security strategies by studying all the food value chain stages and how it relates to Human Nutrition and Public Health throughout the entire life cycle.

Research in INTA is a collaborative effort involving academics, researchers, and students. Students and young investigators can train in an internationally competitive research environment, which prepares them to perform forefront transdisciplinary research in nutrition sciences and food technology.

INTA's research activity is recognized nationally and internationally. Results are published in top internationally indexed journals and receive funding from national and international competitive grants. Many of our academics serve as experts, consultants, and board members of scientific committees, governmental agencies, and international organizations to translate their expertise to society.
